The final plans presented a five-bedroom and five-bathroom residence, with a u-shaped floor plan that wraps around the generously sized pool. The outdoor terrace spills out from the commercial-grade kitchen, formal dining room and inviting lounge space. After securing this Scotts Street property, we set out to introduce a contemporary style to a traditional area, while still respecting the regionʼs rich heritage.
This bold vision saw our team working alongside Melbourne-based interior designer Alissa Birch and Brisbane-based architects Big House Little House, a collaboration which focused on the careful amalgamation of old and new.
The traditional influence was reflected in the bespoke cabinetry from Milan, and marble from Italy and Spain. Zoning formal and casual living areas reinforced an air of old-school prestige, and the open fireplace and feature pendants were reminiscent of an era gone by.
To ensure this space will also grow and evolve as the years pass, this luxurious residence is interlaced with smart technology, state-of-the-art air-conditioning and premium appliances.
